man dorkus it is so obvious you LOVE PEOPLE as much as i do ... HA HA. okay what did we learn today ... people are stupid ... how is this different from any other day ... it isn't. well we might have to confirm that people are stupid though ... so hmmm could i have a confirmation on that.

hedwig ... love the x-files reference ... i was watching my season 7 x-files dvd a few days ago, the hollywood a.d. ep, which is so funny. anyways i was laughing out loud. it was so funny but apparently not so funny to pigern who kept giving me strange looks. could be also because she thinks i'm a freak when it comes to the x-files.
I hate idiotic people.

This is a conversation I had with one of our customers today:

Idiot: Hi, I received a confirmation for my order. I just wanted to make sure my order was okay.
Me: So you already received a confirmation? (trying not to be a smartass)
Idiot: Yeah, I just wanted to "dot my I's and cross my T's"
Me: So you want me to..(pause, rolling of eyes) confirm your confirmation?
Idiot: Yes
Me: (thinking in my head: What the f**k do you think a confirmation is? Why would I have to f**king confirm your confirmation? Do you want me to confirm the confirmation of your confirmation too?)
i've spread the news to some ppl about the H&M store and they would like to know how you found this out....i guess some sort of "proof." Me, I'll just take your word for it and hope for the best...but my friends would like some proof......"trust no one" hehe. u like that huh new wave.....

listening to: crack whore whitney--one of those days
p.s. did anyone see her on divas duets? didn't she look preggers?
duh, i've been following this store for years, waiting and waiting for it to come to the west coast ever since it opened.........actually Lauren told me. oh ya and darth it's not SD you're coming too, it's SF! that is not a coo right, i'm going to get us in big trubur again. haha. and yes i've been hiding it for years, but my mom wanted a girl so she dressed me up like one when i was a toddler, so you're kind of right there new wave. haha.
yeah mac, i'm going to have to side with new wave on this one, how do you know about H & M? Now I'm kinda scared about visiting you this weekend.
mac the knife ... why you even know about a new H & M store coming to L.A. disturbs me ... have you been around too many girls lately or are you secretly a girl ?????
hi everyone, a little while back some of you were talking about H&M. well i just heard that they're opening one up in LA sometime soon. just passing on the news.

haha, chula vista is okay, as long as you stay East of the 805, i actually live there right now. haha. and yes national city is ghetto, it's comparable to east l.a. so darth when you come down here we'll go party up in national city! good times ahead! haha.
heeyyyyyy chula vista isn't THAT bad. I grew up there...hehe. Anyway my cousins live in Bonita and that's not ghetto.....but it also isn't Chula Vista so.....point taken. Isn't National City more ghetto? In and around there. I think my cousin's old house is prolly a crack house by now.
only a few more days and may will be over. dang 2003 is almost half over ... what the heck. i watched 24 hour party people yesterday ... good movie. well i liked it but honestly it is geared towards someone who cares about a. joy division and the happy mondays b. manchester, england and c. the whole new wave / rave culture. so you can see why i liked it. side note i think ian curtis is a genius ... well not as wonderful as robert of course ... or thom. moving on ... watching the movie made me really want to go to manchester and check it out. i need to get out of the states ... too bad sars had to happen because i would have been to china/hong kong in a flash. oh well. summer months are upon us soon which just makes me hate work even more. i'm cooped up in a building all day long and the sun is shining brightly outside :( ... not that i even like the sun but i'm just saying .. it makes you want to go outside and have fun and blah blah blah.

on the beat box: more than a woman - aaliyah
Dave Matthews in Chula Vista? Man that city sounds ghetto. I wouldn't want to live there. Oh wait. Nevermind.

Woohoo. I have mastered how to edit my template and thus will keep this one for a while. I am now using frontpage to edit and then cut and paste the html codes. YAAY. i got my westernu email today. it's awesome to feel a part of something new. i'm really looking fwd to going to school. new ppl, new experiences. so i set up my emails and there were already a couple of emails out there about females lookin for roommates. so i emailed a couple of them back. hopefully they're cool ppl. i feel all busy like ihave so many things to do before i leave. but it feels invigorating. it feels like i'm alive and have purpose in life. it's great. we're going bowling tomorrow. woohoo! AND spaghetti warehouse. sangria. yum. hehe. tomorrow i have a bunch of errands to run. tying up loose ends here in philly. man it's only 10 and i feel like it's 2am. i think thats' what happens when you work all day. my roommate told me i was glaring at a customer today when she walked by. i feel bad now. i mean ppl who know me would not say i was a mean/rude person, but i think my job makes me that way geez. i feel so bad cuz i get annoyed at stupid/ignorant/slow ppl. that's not the way to be. i can't help it. :( hopefully i will get better with that as i get into my career. COMPASSION IS KEY! hehe. pray for me. i'm going home in 7 days and counting... listening to: Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Live-Christmas Song
oh and i know most of you don't care much for these two concerts but I DO!!!!!! I'm going yay!
John Mayer/Counting Crows July 18 in Irvine
DMB July 29 in Chula Vista
YEAH BABY!

Friday, May 23

yeah i think girls have it harder for the reasons just mentioned, plus the whole biological clock thing...career...having babies--when does one have time? esp for doctors who have a good 8 years of their life planned out...and lately i've been thinking, when the hell am i supposed to reproduce? they say that having a baby after 30 there is an increased chance of birth defects. i'll get out of med school at 28.....residency/internship another 4 years.....WHEN DAMMIT?? add to that periods, cramps, the whole estrogen roller coaster.....sigh hehe. *steps off soap box*

so i had to blog about this. some dude killed himself about a block away from my apt..it was actually half a block away in the next building. he hung himself from the roof...but the horrifying part is...due to the force of gravity or perhaps the sharpness of whatever he hung himself with, or both...he was decapitated------RIGHT DOWN THE STREET! And my boss told me that apparently he screamed when he jumped and then asked me if i had heard it......good thing i've been desensitized to loud noises coming from the alley.....how freaky is that?!

and with that last note i say......13 more days until i go back to sunny CA.
i must admit, i like watching good day LA with steve, jill & dorothy. they are comedy! its much better than those "for-old-people" katie kurrick(sp?) shows.
i must also acknowledge that it is harder for women in general. having 8 sisters myself, i know how hard it can be.
so yeah,
BLUR ALL THE WAY! FTC!!!!
i guess thats about it for now.
song o'dee moment: blur - ambulance
new wave, i think girls do have it harder than guys for the most part. first of all, there is the glass ceiling in the workplace. then there are expectations placed on women regarding looks. if you watch the telly, women are expected to be v. attractive but men... less so. i learned in one of my comm studies classes that older men are considered wiser and intelligent. but older women? obsolete. case in point: the lame morning show on fox where you have two younger, attractive women and some balding, old guy. or look at films where they pair jack nicholson with v. young women (i.e. helen hunt) or harrison ford with anne heche.
well, i better go get some rest. i'm feeling a tad under the weather.
i'm currently listening to coldplay. i know what you might think - "overrated" - but i still think they are tops! excited to see them next weekend. yippee!

Thursday, May 22

sorry hedwig ... i mean i can't wait till you become a D.O. :)

oh my gosh ... T.W.I.F.O.S.L.Y just blogged ... stop the presses. ha ha. but seriously ftc it is all about that blur show. we just need to find out when tickets go on sale. BLUR !!!!

i think jennifer connelly is too classy to play wonder woman .. you need someone a bit more rough around the edges, with more spunk. way too much h & m talk but it's cool ... i'm learning to be a girl so maybe in a few days i'll be talking like you guys as well.

went and saw machomer at the UCI Barclay theatre with dorkus melorkus tonight. this guy rick miller does all these simpson character voices to the story of macbeth. macbeth, by the way, was written by shakespeare ... in case you are moron and didn't know that. honestly it was pretty impressive. it was a one man show so this guy was doing all the roles. at the end he did this little comedy thing that was really funny. i had a good time.

so i had a little conversation with mac the knife on aim about girls and guys and the differences and how girls have really low self esstem and blah blah blah. so asking the girls in the house ... don't you all feel it is harder to be a woman than a man. there are these crazy expectations and levels that woman seem to have to reach to get accepted into society. i personally feel that because i'm not femine enough i'm outcasted or detached (view my imood) from a certain degree of people and social groups. sometimes i think conforming would be just be easier ... but then i remember ... I HATE PEOPLE.

on the beat box: why does it always rain on me - travis ... THEY ARE SO GOOD.

just a disclaimer about H&M in NY...be prepared to wait in a long ass line for the fitting rooms where you can only take 15 items in. but it's well worth it. i took 11 items in and walked away w/ 9 :) also something really cool about H&M is that their accessories are soooooooo cheap. i bought sunglasses for 3.50...this silver necklace thing w/ a cross for 3.50 and a black military belt for 5.50. My cousin bought hair accessories for $1....now tell me that ain't a great deal! ok i'll get off my H&M soap box now. i'm gonna be so sad to back to CA w/o H&M haha. it's the best place if you're cheap--i mean, practical!

good call with both of those dorkus! i will be sure to relay it to my fellow HP fans about your casting. i dunno about boston, but NY...hit the "tourist" spots if you haven't already...i mean you can't go wrong w/ NY. Central Park was my favorite...everything was so pretty--this is of course if it's a nice sunny day out. depending on where you're staying there should be an H&M nearby...there's one on 5th ave & 51st. food....there was this pizzaria--John's Pizzaria on 42nd st...if you're going north on broadway...make a left. I'm not sure if it's 42nd tho....:-\ What else.....there's this place called French Roast, it's a cute lil cafe dealie that serves breakfast anytime and they have good food...but I dunno where it's at. My friend said it was near "the village"...so that should give u an idea. Get one of those "street smart" maps...they work really well and it's laminated so you can do whatever you want w/ it. but that's all my advice :) hope it helps.

oh and i FINALLY watched the season finale of Friends...and i have to say that it was really good. prolly one of the best ones they've done. it was v. funny(and the show hasn't been all that funny lately-i think monica's hair did the trick), suspenseful and dramatic(drama like "ooh omg i can't believe that" or "KISS HER DAMMIT!"), and it wasn't all a big cliffhanger production...just good clean fun. kudos to the Friends writing staff. :)

and lastly, does anyone watch smallville or know any smallville fans that actually watch the show religiously? if so, can you ask them, or can you tell me HOW the hell did Lionel Luther, Lex's dad get his eyesight back? just something that's been bothering me, cuz one day he was blind...then all of a sudden he can just see. miraculous i tell ya.
hmm, i think jennifer connelly would make a good wonder woman, and since hedwig asked, i think viggo mortensen would be a good sirius black, but only if he has the same long brown hair that he has in LOTR.

all right, so i'm going to boston/NY in june. any suggestions hedwig? i know you mentioned how you spent all this money at H&M. trust me, i am SO there.
yes, i have not blogged in a LONG time. new wave, ages for u is like 2 days, hehehe. anyway, congrats to my old biomed (grrr) homie, hedwig for her accomplishments, very well deserved. i, too will be heading off to medical school soon up at ucsf.
i am soooo all over blur too. i was down cos i didnt catch them at coachella, but im glad they are touring again. Think Tank is really good, i love "ambulance", beautiful song. looks like the elastica corner is making some noise, donna has her new band and justine is featured on a new single by pleasure (downloadable at elasticated.org)
so not much going on, its starting to get unbearably hot, damn the valley!
until next time....

not to be a hard ass hehe but i'm gonna be a D.O. NOT an M.D. Doctor of Osteopathy :) see my blogsite for link to my schools info: A Day in the Life

Monday, May 19

dang i haven't blogged in ages ... been pretty busy. so busy that i forgot to pay this one guy for a cure record ebay item i got so he sent me a pretty threaten/mean e-mail. ha ha. no worries though ... i paid the man and all is good now.

nkotb rule! ... ashley is so cute :)

old stuff: not sure who could play wonder woman ... someone who is tall with blue eyes and dark hair ... and not j hoe. ha ha. i want to see matrix reloaded but no worries ... this coming sunday i will hopefully be there. as for the trip down brightwood memory lane aka hell in elem. school for me ... serioulsy we were such fucked up kids. i mean what kinda of kids did this stuff like that. geez. oh i know kids who had golf as an elective and went to space camp and camping at catalina island ... oh well i guess that's why i'm a nut case.

and now to more current topics ... vegas (VEGAS BABY VEGAS) this past weekend. i had a good time - the eating, the gambling, the drinking. i know i don't win big on the slut machines but you know it keeps me entertained and i'm having fun :). the bowling at orleans was the best. our bowling guy lloyd hooked us up with a free game which was nice. so fun and the lanes are nice. vegas stories: that lady (she was NO teenager) that i thought wanted money but darth told me she wanted sex ... she had messed up teeth, my friend eric toking it up .... dorkus was there ... she knows, watching mac's friend johnney bowl left handed ... that was actually pretty funny, the 1.95 steak and eggs dinner ... seriously it wasn't great but for 1.95 it was darn good :), the wrap core breach ... that 10 oz. drink was great ... yea vegas was cool but i'm a bit tired of it so i won't be heading there for awhile. plus summer months are coming so frickin' hot.

congrats to hedwig for graduating. i can't wait till you grad. and become a M.D. that will be a great great day. :) so cool you saw rent on broadway. that must have been great. can't say anything about shopping at h & m since i don't shop ... hee hee.

side notes ... blur is touring :) this coming june and i'm all over that ... if anyone in the house wants to go let me know. i decided to forgo my trip to europe to see radiohead live :( because it is too much of a hassle (sniff) but know that i am deeply sadden by the whole thing. i sent most of the people in this house a link to the friendster thing ... basically it is a beta prog. database of people though darth and t.w.i.f.o.s.l.y says it is all asians hee hee but yea i mean just sign up and leave each other testimonals and put up a picture as well. fun stuff ... for a bit. ha ha

hello...
congrats hedwig on graduating! sounds like your ny trip was tops. i know what you mean about h&m. i'm conflicted though because then everyone would have clothes from there (if it was on the west coast). i too have spent quite a large sum of money at that store. i know what you mean... $100 is really not that much to spend there. not like anthropologie where you can buy one item for $100.
sounds like everyone went out of town this past weekend. i was boring and did nothing. i think i cleaned my room. i forgot it's a three day weekend. does anyone have big plans? i (as usual) have none. wow. i'm starting to sound lame. better end here.
Hey everyone
Congrats to graduation Hedwig!!!

Thanks one more time to Mac, for the cool weekend in vegas...everyone disco dancing!!! it was a lot of fun, yeah i like the stupid drugged up lady that cost us all money, and the sexist dealer who was playing too. Bowling at 4 am is definetly fun, there needs to be more 24 lanes out here. The 1.95 steak and eggs combo, and .99 pancake sandwhich were also some of the highlights....I'm still kicking myself because i had been thinking about just throwing down 100 bucks on my first blackjack hand hoping that I could win an instant 100 and just chill the rest of the weekend, well i contemplated it and when i sat down, I backed out and only bet 5 bucks, and guess what, yep blackjack!!! damn i could've had 150 bucks, man i'm dumb sometimes. The star trek drink brought out fun brad which was entertaining but come sat night I think everyone was pretty much in "fun" moods haha....not sure if she was actually a teenage prostitute, but she was wearing a short mini skirt, a tight pink tank top, high heels and was knocking on the car window...hmmmm

Sorry Sac sucked so much usher, but then again it is sac....i'd like to know your scheme for getting into the casinos...did you want to borrow my i.d.? cause i think you could pull off looking like a white guy. and make sure you stay at a hotel with a swiming pool cause then you can say its chlorine....dumbass

Fun weekend, looking forward to the 3 day coming up, need to catch up on sleep....Thanks again mac, and hope your car freshner is making your drive to work everyday that much better and don't forget....go to college a university........hahaha
NY is so cool. this last trip was prolly the best trip to NY i've had. we stayed at a hotel for a night so that made the trip chill and not so rushed. we got to see RENT on broadway.....and that Frenchie girl who got kicked off American Idol was playing one of the swings in the play...actually she played the soloist on Seasons of Love. The performances themselves...like the group as a whole was just ok. Some songs were really good and some songs they performed like bleh. but it was still an awesome experience. we went around central park and i got to see more of it than i ever had...soooooooo pretty and it was a lovely day. I spent 130 bucks at H&M...and even tho it seems like a lot...I got my money's worth. :) Everything is so cheap there...I swear they need to open some West Coast stores cuz seriously I would just shop there all the time.

I'm starting to get really sad about leaving Philly. :(

man SAC is such a great place!!!....for me to poop on!...Man it's worse than freakin Michigan...there were some cute honeys but man...there were some crazy drunks too...and tons of dumb white fuckers who like to drink right ooutside the hotel..but the drunk chicks were sweet...anyways going to vegas this weekend..too bad you can't go Darth it would be sooo fun man...NKOTB and I have this sweet plan to get me in the casinos too..and we're pretty sure it will work..if not i can just smoke pot inside a motel 6 and have a sheriff drive by...but i can also say i went swimming right Darth!...anyways..goodnight people oh i just bought an Usher Special Edition Cd. too kool

hedwig congratulations on your graduation.

went to vegas this past weekend with darth, new wave, and a few of my other friends. it was pretty cool, even though i think i was drunk most of the time, and therefore lost some cash along the way, due to that fact. don't know for some reason, when you're drunk, you're judgment isn't as good. go figure. i must say there are some interesting people that come out of the woodwork though in vegas. darth and i had the great privelege of playing blackjack next to the craziest most F'ed up lady at Treasure Island. or maybe she was just plain stupid. i mean you would think that if the dealer had a 5 showing, and she had a 16, you're supposed to hit right? well that was her theory, so she kept hitting on everything, doubling down on 12, and guess what, she kept getting her damn cards, and making darth and i lose along the way. oh did i mention that she was probably hopped up on something, and seemed like she just came out of the looney bin? the best i can describe her is as a crazy "cat" lady. oh well, that's just the tip of the iceberg. my friend johnney met this interesting, ummm, how do you put it, uhhh, drugdealer at a bar. that was sweet too. he kept touching him and calling him holmes and asked if he wanted to score some weed. oh ya i wasn't there to see this one, but this is an account of what new wave and darth told me as well, i guess some teenage prostitute hit them up on the road somewhere to the hotel, i think it was just some girl trying to be friendly, haha, but let them tell you about it, cause i don't have all the info, and i wouldn't want to get the story wrong, might come off ignorant. like i said, what dumbas.... i mean really cool people.

overall the trip itself was fun, i mean drinking, gambling, drinking, eating, drinking, lack of sleep, drinking, bowling, drinking....i hope whoever went had fun. oh and finally, best gift of the weekend...........my Good Charlotte: Riot Girl Air Freshener, Spice Scent.

i am tearing. ((sniff)) looking at the upcoming festivals in europe is making me drool... i need to go to scotland. have to go. to see r.e.m. on the main stage at the 't in the park' festival. with idlewild and the white stripes. awww man! and to think i was in europe the same time last summer. dreaming about going to all the festivals. i pinned up the flyers in my london dorm room. as a possibility. now it is a definite impossibility. well, we can all dream...

Anyway ducks will win their game tonight and go to the stanley cup, thus making anaheim the city of champions, how wrong is that? okay leaving now peac out everyone have a nice weekend.

man brightwood does suck! and so does Repetto.....and Ramona...and SHeuy...and Park and alhambra and Godwin and East Kentwood...man...i went to a lot of schools...but never graduated? how odd?..but anyways remember that time when tyler threw my shoe on the roof and i cried? that wasn't funny..or remember the time NKOTB got tired of his car so he keyed it all up so his dad would buy him a new car???!?!!?
oh ya hey remember that time in brightwood when nkotb had a bb gun and dropped it on top of some bushes? man those were the good ol days. don't worry people, alhambra high memories will be posted soon, yes even about me breaking my arm twice, suckas.
would j-ho's ass even fit in the invisible jet? brightwood can kiss my ass....they wouldn't even graduate my brother. its all about repetto baby! right tyler.....tyler?
Here's mac the knife's sweet-ass email about brightwood... just for you new wave :) enjoy!

man i miss my old brightwood friends. i really thought that girls name was
yvette cisneros, but i might be wrong. well i don't care about her i really
miss all the mexican girls though, like nicole, lauren, jenelle, sandra,
lana, and shalimar, and wicca hahahaha. oh and young nam. and chester.
and david velasquez and jay marin. and james even though i don't really
remember him. and lawrence and his sister, them bitches sandwiched me with
their kayaks in catalina, because i kept bumping lawrence on purpose, so his
freaking sister protected him. what a bitch. haha. and i also miss the
brightwood 8. and david chan crying behind those big canister things when
betty dumped him. i also miss jamie and paul making out non stop. i miss
anne yelling at me because brent sprained his ankle on my foot when we were
playing basketball. and i miss steven hudson and his gun. man i don't
think this list will end, but i'm sure you'll enjoy it very much.....oh ya i
also miss cameille beating the crap out of marcus in the boys bathroom, and
on a final note, even though there's more i miss helen kim trying to burn
the school down.... hahahahahahah.

hey what's up everyone. Wonder Woman? i think Chyna could play her. or Lucy Lawless. that would be sweet. haha. going to vegas tomorrow, i'm excited. going to watch matrix reloaded tonight. did anyone see the last dawson's last night? (hanging head low) i'll admit i caught most of it, but what i really want to note is how awesome the ending was. "i don't want to wait for our lives to be over" hahaha that was the worst piece of writing ever on television. hahaha, my stool can write better than that. on a brighter note of television, one of my favorite bands Alkaline Trio was on Conan tuesday night. did anyone catch that? they played "all on black" and i must say that it was a good performance, they didn't sound as good as Good Charlotte, but i was happy. haha. and i was supposed to blog this long paragraph about how i miss brightwood, but i couldn't cut and paste it so i'm sorry new wave and other brightwood alum. but nick if you still have the email i sent to you with it, could you do me a favor and post it or just send it to new wave. thanks. VEGAS BABY VEGAS! Darth you are so money. I think in order to prep for my trip I will watch Swingers tonight. alright everyone take care this weekend, and God bless.
watched matrix reloaded last night! woohoo! anyway just a heads up for you guys. there is a preview for the matrix 3 at the very end of the credits...if you already didn't know. :)

wonder woman...i could actually see buffy playing her, altho she is a lil short...but she's an OG brunette so I could see that. no sandra bullock or j-lo.....bleh. any hard core HP fans out there? i'm trying to cast (in my head) actors for Sirius Black, Professor Lupin and Peter Pettigrew/Wormtail/Scabbers. heee. HP 5 order of the phoenix next month!!!!! a woo hoo!
its early and i'm sleepy, yeah yeah what else is new....honestly not much....haha...boss is out this week so its easy street. yes mac mr. nanny probably had a nice mothers day as well. It thursday night so that mean the return of mr. america tonight!!! yes our new hero. Just heard that j-ho, buffy, and sandra bullock are all vying for the role of wonder woman, i can't, nor do i want to see any of these three actresses as wonder woman, but at the same time i can't think of any one who could fill the role....Do any of you have any ideas? My coworker just let me borrow the matrix, so with any luck I should be able to finally watch it and thus be prepared for the sequel....vegas in one day....peace out

happy mother's day people...............finally 19..i'm legal to drink and gamble....IN CANADA.....going up to SAc this weekend..should be fun...OH JENN AND JOHN GOT ME THE USHER DVD WHICH IS THE BEST! and i also got a Spearmint Rhino hat.
feeling spacier than an astronaut... i have been so spacey lately. no idea why. not work related. not drug related. just distracted by nothingness. does that make sense? anyway, as an example of my distracted stupidity, i went out to breakfast with a coworker and rep. i parked in a metered parking space and proceeded to NOT feed the meter. why? i don't know. i guess because everytime i park near a meter, it's after six p.m. and it is no longer necessary to pay. then i sit outside the restaurant, as the meter police give me my parking violation ticket basically right in front of me. all i would have to do is turn around and see that i was being ticketed. durrr... luckily it was only $35. hm, actually, that is more than ucla. because i've been ticketed there and it was $25.

more of my hard earned cash blowing away in the winds of misfortune. another such incident? fantastic sam's. i went to get a simple trim. very simple. so simple that it took the woman twenty minutes at most to cut my hair. i just wanted a trim. but i had to wait an hour. there were three people in front of me. then when they call me next, the worker doesn't even bother to sweep away the last customer's hair. ewww. gross. i wanted to run out of there. horrid. in fact... why didn't i? always follow your instinct to run. and at the end of it all, they charge me $14. i can't believe it. what a rip off.

all i did today was make phone calls and harass people. what a day.

First off, Happy Belated Mother's Day to all the Mom's and Mr. Mom's out there, and to Mr. Nanny as well, right Darth?

Sorry I haven't been blogging, i've just been being lazy, plus I got stuck with this long and tedious project at work. Not too fun. So where is everyone? Seems pretty empty these days. Has anyone seen Mr. America? The new guy on WWE, man he's great. I'm boring right now, sorry I don't have anything really intersting to say. Oh i'm turning the big 24, and we're going to Vegas. Darth and New Wave are coming and it should be good times out there. I recently made some purchases, first off the NOFX cd i'm listening to right now and also The Clash - Essential Clash cd. I'm also looking forward to getting the new Alkaline Trio -Good Mourning that comes out this tuesday. I will also be purchasing I Against I and Jawbreaker, those are kind of old, but it sure beats the crap out there right now, except of course for Good Charlotte.

happy mother's day to all the mothers and all your mothers and all their mothers! :)

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

hedwig you forgot to put a link to your site so i'll do it for you: A Day in the Life ... go check it out everyone :) ...

i wonder who or where these threatening e-mails are coming from (shurg) oh well ... (insert evil laugh here).

saw x2 on friday and it was good. i didn't think there were too many characters like a lot of reviews were saying ... i personally thought there should have been more. oh and i got to hang out with t.w.i.f.o.s.l.y so that was cool as well :) ... FOR THE CHEESE.

nice long quote btw dorkus ... i esp. like the part about the moving from job to job bit ... ha ha. hmmm let me think who can that be that we might know.

so i went out with my cousins tonight and it was good times. i have to say family is important because they have a bit of your blood in them you know ... that's a pretty cool idea if you think about it.

on the beat box: doves cds ... actually nothing but that was the last thing i was listening to.

Yes, I too received a threatening email saying that if I didn't blog, I would be killed. So here I am, blogging, so that I will no longer have to fear for my life.

New Wave and Darth, this one's for you. It's an excerpt (sp?) from David Sedaris' Naked.

"I have known people who can quit one job and find another in less time than it takes to quarter a fryer. Regardless of their experience, these people exude charm and confidence. The charm is something they were either born with or had beaten into them at an early age, but what gives them their confidence is the early knowledge that someone like me has also filed an application......During episodes of unemployment I find it rewarding to sleep as much as possible - anywhere from twelve to fourteen hours a day is a good starting point. Sleep spares you humiliation and saves money at the same time: nothing to eat, nothing to buy, just lie back and dream your life away. I'd wake up in the afternoon, watch my stories on TV, and then head over to the sofa for a few more hours of shut-eye. It became my habit to pick up a newspaper just after five o'clock and spend some time searching the want ads, wondering who might qualify for any of the advertised positions: vault verifier, pre-press salesman, audit technical reviewer. Show me the child who dreams of being a sausage-casing inspector....." - David Sedaris, "Something for Everyone"

Hmm, the part about people having one job right after the other sure does remind me of a certain person we know................

can i just say i'm addicted to six feet under ... i can't stop watching it and i'm so involved with the characters. the last time i felt this way was with x-files (the greatest show ever). if any of you guys have a chance i really think you should watch this series.
i know a lot of you guys don't view the web page but if you would like a link to nick edney's favorite show on sunday ... there it is on on the sidebar. nick begged me to put the sunday night sex show link there so i did >:o) hee hee
i was just sent a threatening email saying that if I don't blog i'm going to be killed or something, so fearing for my life here is a post for you all to enjoy. Lets see so far this week I have cleaned a big portion of my office and put things in order, which is a rarity for me. I saw better luck tomorrow cause I'm asian....haha jk........i thought it was really good movie especially the stylistic directing. Still haven't seen X2 yet, but I think I'll be doing that this weekend, hopefully. Matix comes out shortly as well, which makes me think I should watch the first one, yes I think I may be the only person not to have seen the matrix. looking forward to vegas mac, i'm sure it will be quite a funny little weekend, looking forward to bowling at 4 am and you yacking on my shoes as you have earlier predicted doing. ......okay i hope this is good enough for now......go dodgers, and good luck to the ducks...show that you aren't a hack!!! (-kw)
hello everyone. my review of the postal service/jealous sound show... much fun. :o) the high schoolers did not bother me much. but i think i was just happy from my two drinks. i know i know. weak sauce. it was really fun dancing to the postal service but a fight almost broke out because it was so crowded and people were bumping into others. and this one guy got mad and shoved this other person... luckily it didn't get ugly.
since xmen2 was so crowded this past weekend, i went to see anger management. ((shudder)) i forgot why i found adam sandler films so repulsive. and then twenty minutes into the film, i was like, "oh yeah! now i remember how i swore not to go see any of his movies after big daddy."
i know what you mean hedwig about those japanese girls and their dire need for expensive brand name goods. when i was in paris, our tour guide told us that girls from japan would line up outside the louis vuitton store at five in the morning... and would cry if they didn't get the bag they wanted. wait, it's still just a bag right? did i miss something? it's very strange.

oh and side note:

THINK TANK - BLUR ...... OUT TODAY

dang okay no one has been blogging .... for shame everyone :( even myself.

hedwig ... the one good person in the house ... neat you were listening to RENT ... you got me hooked on that play, seriously. as for the japanese thing, it does not surprise me one bit. those people are strange esp. ones like nick edney. (insert evil laugh here)

moving on ... i went to see the jealous sound and postal service tonight. okay is something seriously wrong with me where i hate everything. ha ha. i was NOT impressed by them but then again nothing impresses me right dorkus. to top it off there were like these high school people there and it was bad. like ugly bad. (shiver) like someone made the lead singer of the postal service ask a girl out to their prom bad. (shiver, shiver) freaking way too high school for me. i'm how much older than these kids. i know i know you are saying hey new wave girl don't let these people get to you or don't go to the shows than new wave girl but i guess i do let these people get to me and going to shows give me something to do. better than going to fu**ing lame ass dinners with people you hardly know .... ha ha get that one mac the knife and darth bronger. :)

vegas next weekend. thank goodness. i think i'm getting the shakes from not drinking. ha ha. man and 24 hour bowling in vegas so i'm all over that.

well since i'm in the sharing mood i might as well tell everyone in the house about my first real car accident although it is more of a fender bender. on sunday while going to church some car starts reversing while i was behind him in a driveway .... so i'm honking like mad and honking some more then BANG ... he hits my car :( eh at least no one was hurt and the ins. company is taking care of everything but what a pain.

I WANT TO SEE X-MEN 2 :(

Sunday, May 4

where is everyone?
*crickets chirping...owl hooting.......*

Saturday, May 3

so i was talking to my coworker who studied in japan for the past 3 months. she was telling me about this "fad" that they have over there--i forget what they're called. 15 year old girls prostituting themselves....they have this website where you like put your phone number on and men contact them...take them to karaoke bars where they get piss-drunk and "have a good time." She said that the girls never admit to having sex w/ these men but I think it's assumed. And the girls do this b/c they need extra money to buy designer stuff. Then she asked a japanese friend of hers if she knew anyone that did that and the girl said yeah. And she seemed to think it was perfectly normal. When asked why she didn't do it....the girl said that she really didn't need the money b/c she wasn't into expensive stuff. Isn't that weird?! Weird ol' Japs hehe. And she said that the really old ppl and our generation japanese are perfectly cool to foreigners but the middle aged ppl dont' like foreigners and they just want them out. I thought that was weird too--well mostly about the really old ppl cuz of the war and everything. so i thought that was an interesting tidbit i'd share w/ y'all.

listening to: Beatles-Across the Universe

Friday, May 2

just watched me some x2. i'll refrain from saying anything about it except that i'm looking fwd to xmen: 3....and i liked 2 better than 1. sluts if you even read the blogs anymore, i must have a convo w/ you about stuff i forgot that really happened in the old school xmen. :D matrix may 15!!!!!!

and and i forgot.....if you guys end up watching it.....at the end they pan on an area of water.....tell me if you see anything in the water. i was trying to but stupid ppl were getting up and walking out so i either thought i was just seeing things or what. ok let me know! :)
I heard someone on the radio refer to Mr. Personality as "Who Wants to Date a Mexican Wrestler?" I think that's a sweet title, considering those people in those masks look ridiculous. Reality TV really, really needs to stop soon. It's getting really lame with the ideas and all. Whatever happened to the good old days with shows like Different Strokes, Punky Brewster, Saved by the Bell? Man I miss good TV. I also hate watching the NBA on ABC, they need to bring it back to NBC so at least they have a cool theme song in John Tesh's "Roundball Magic" I mean what else gets you pumped up more wo watch basketball than Roundball Magic?

Thursday, May 1

work DOES suck but I don't have to work today! woohoo! so i'm done w/ all my work for school and i have a month left til I leave Philly. It's exciting it is. hmmm see i decided to blog, but now i don't have anything to say. so i'll ask a lame question. who's your pick for american idol? i think clay will win. that mr. personality show looks so crappy....ooh today's thursday! must see tv! yay. ok i'm gonna go frollick around my apt because i can! because i don't have anything to do today at all!!! yay!

listening to: RENT the soundtrack!

oh oh and i just finished reading Harry Potter 4: The Goblet of Fire again and WOOOOOO it's REALLY good. I had forgotten how good. It's the best out of the 4.....can't wait til the 5th!
