Hey everyone its new music tuesday go pick up the nirvana album, its really good. I was driving with my two co-workers today, coming back from Best Buy today and we see all the happy go lucky angel fans all sporting their red shirts/hats/flags etc, anyway we see a group of them have the camcorders out and are filming the banners in the sky and the stadium. As I drive by they both roll down their windows and yell "GO DODGERS!!!" the look on these poor peoples faces was priceless. They were utterly shocked......I would like to be friends with ed norton just cause he seems cool. I would also think that gwen would be a cool friend. Natalie of course would be more than just a friend. okay thats all for now....and i agree with dorkus, new wave your halloween costume probably wouldn't fly over at work, but nice try, trying to dress in your normal attire.

i partly agree with you nick re: chinese weddings. i wouldn't want everyone banging their chopsticks on their tea cups... so embarassing. no karoke at my family's weddings though... but i wouldn't really want a wedding ceremony anyway. i'd rather elope. so i'm not really against chinese weddings per se but against the spectacle of weddings in general.

the weekend was pretty fun. juwanna and i watched 'Ted Bundy' for our anniversary. ha ha. not the most romantic of dates :) don't watch that movie...it sucks. went to a typical chinese wedding on saturday and threatened juwanna that if we ever get married and have a chinese wedding, i will break up with him before it even happens. that's right, new wave, nothing chinese whatsoever. ha ha. those weddings are so boring...you just sit there and watch other people get up and sing chinese songs. BORING.
anyone that hasn't seen jackass (or wants to see it again), wanna see it with me? i'm probably going this weekend.

man going to clubs in LA is such a high school thing. i can see why people in high school seemed to enjoy it there. i.e. dublins was lame ....... the dj there sucked so bad, the music selection was predictable and where was the mixing, it was like he was ending one song and was just going to the next, hello where is the transition people ....... man it blew. and the people there looked all old and haggard and aged from all that clubbing and dancing and drinking ..... ha ha

that angel's game was awesome...and this coming from a person who doesn't even really like baseball. i had a family party while it was on and all the guys; my cousins, uncles and the red-head(only white person in the house btw haha) were all up on the TV...I was talking to my friend that came to see me but half watching the game. I watched the first 6 innings and thought "oh well, that sux" hehe..but then all of a sudden they got some runs. It was just cool to hear ppl cheering in my house all loud...hehe and the red head yelling out "yes!!!!" like 4 times and pumping his fists. :P I'm gonna watch tonight b4 my flight. I hope it will be over by 8...just cuz my flight is at 920..and I'd have to leave by then. Ontario airport is sooooooooo much better than LAX....no traffic. Just get off and go...i love it. totally worth the extra 50-70 bucks.

So I'm off to Philly again. I have a 2 hour layover in Vegas. I'm gonna play another 5 bucks on the quarter slots in hopes of winning me some laundry money haha. I jacked all my mom's quarters for my laundry. Surprisingly she had a lot...I think I can bust 2 loads w/ the quarters I have now!

has anyone seen that hewitt packer commercial where that girl takes pictures around the eiffel tower and then prints it out so it wall papers her room? it is the best commercial. v. clever.

i hate fake people + i hate trendy people = i hate people from L.A.

so i always go off on how morbid and strange OC people are and don't get me wrong, they are ... however i never really said much about L.A. people. well after tonight's great show i saw just how lame and trendy and fake (well i don't know if they are fake but some of them sure seem like it). they are all into the "scene" and the who's who and it is just lame ... and pigern's new job/company sounds just as "hollywood/L.A." as they come by ....blech ...... join the real world you sheep freaks ....baaaaaaaa baaaaaaa baaaaaaa goes the sheep call ..... ugh how annoying.

as for the show, good fun had by all. run run run was pretty bad bad bad but division of laura lee was pretty good and haven was really good, i think i just like haven more because they are from manchester, england where all the great bands come out of like new order, joy division and doves ....... hee hee

as for scary movies ..... i don't think it is really scary but i love psycho, you can't get better than that, honestly. it just slowly draws out the story ...... great stuff. i guess others would be carrie, the shining and children of the corn ha ha.

for all of you who are 5'3 and below know how annoying it is when the tall people of the amazons decide to stand in front of the stage right? so i went to the haven/d.o.l.l. show tonight and i went really early so i could get a good position. and by the time haven comes on, this tall blonde girl stands RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. hello? i have been actually at the venue for two hours and she just pushes her way to the front! if you get to a show early enough, you earned your space. grrr... and it's obvious she didn't even know any of their songs. i don't know why she was there. to make it worse, the two guys standing next to her were just as tall. about two heads taller than mine. if you don't even like the band that much, why stand in the front and make it horrible for the short people who do?
please excuse the rambling but it makes me pissed. blar blar blar.

"Scariest movie i've ever seen? Showgirls, scared the hell outta me." Actually it's a movie called "Dolls" it's freaking creepy people. I saw it when I was a young'n and it was about these little creepy porcelain dolls, and to top it all off, the main evil one was yes an ugly ass clown porcelain doll. What the heck is that all about? Freaking demented director. These things went around killing people that stopped by to stay over at that hotel/home. Okay so I was a puss, whatever, but those things are ugly, and you know it.

Anyways JACKASS THE MOVIE this weekend!!!! Darth, Juwanna, and whoever else, we gots to go.

Oh ya and the NBA is starting in less than 2 weeks. SWEET, now we can see the Asian Invasion take over, go cheer for you're local chinaman, whether it be, Mengke Bateer (San Antonio) Yao Ming (Houston) or our local boy Wang Zhi Zhi (LA Clips). Alright well gotta run out and get his jersey. Peace.

I do like the new format with the mood listings on the side though, and the page being back to the blue background. Another great sports weekend, I really do live for watching football and world series games on the weekend, i know i'm lame but we all watch different things on tv, mine just always happen to revolve around sports. okay angels just gave up their lead, so annoying. i agree with new wave i have been spending way to much money recently, gonna try not to do that the rest of this week, but we'll see how far that really goes. it all goes to little crap which is annoying.
movie reviews:
punch drunk love was a disturbingly cute and nice story when you get to the core of it Very well acted by Sandler whom steps out of his normal character to deliver an unforgettable performance.
the ring was a slightly above average horror/thriller that kept my interest but never went over the top for pure mind numbing terror.......but naomi watts is super hot so that made the movie better than it should have been....

man, Kate Hudson (playing Penny Lane) in Almost Famous was the best! I developed a non-sexual female crush on her thereafter. I think she's extremely talented. (and she's our age too! that's kinda weird)...and her brother is amazingly hot too.

...Anyway, working in Anaheim, especially right on Katella where the stadium is, you can't help but escape all this Angels imagery. oh yeah, how can i forget that Disney OWNS Anaheim. it's ridiculous!!!!!!!!! i couldn't care less.........

just finished watching unwrapped on the food network, i really like that show, today's topic was movie snacks and an even bigger plus is marc summers host the show, remember him from family double dare :)

moving on i saw spirited away this weekend and pigern and i enjoyed it. the animation was amazing and some of the characters were really cute ..... too bad darth fell asleep towards the end, what a moron. ha ha. in addition, i watched brown sugar, i enjoyed it but it was not great or anything, after all it was a romantic comedy. i also watched dorkus melorkus's almost famous dvd. that was a good good movie, although i was not a fan of penny lane (kate hudson) but loved miller (william fugit).

yes the angels are kicking ass. so juwanna man are you peeing in your pant with happiness as you should be, who would have thought they would make it to the world series ......... dang. one complaint though is the amount of poser angel fans, i mean i'm glad people are supporting them but it is getting a bit ridiculous. there are so many people at my work place who went to the game this past weekend but they NEVER mentioned being an angel fan before, i think it kinda of sucks. oh well though.

man hedwig it will be cool to hang out with you and FTC, unless FTC flakes on us AGAIN. ha ha.

Ya so that cockroach thing, you do have to sort of expect it, but when it really does happen, it's really freaking gross. By the way that incident at Sunday cafe was witnessed by myself and some friends. It crawled up next to my friend's head and the roach was about as long as my middle finger. Nasty. What's even better is that the fob ass owner of the restaurant was laughing and telling us that it was just like Hong Kong, and then he tells us to just move seats and order more food. WTF is wrong with these people.

congrats to the angels to making it to the world series...and in other news......i heard harry potter 5 comes out this holiday season :) ok time for me to go to bed......

so darth tells me some story from another person's blog page about how they went to a chinese cafe and saw some ugly roach there and how gross and nasty it was and then darth added ha ha to chinese cafe ...... look people every resturant is dirty some how some way. if you are telling yourself this is not true then you are in serious denial. i'm sure we would all like to pretend that the place we are eating at the cleanest in the world but truth but told ....... no. anyone who has worked in a restuarnt can tell you it is not the cleanest, i never have but some coworkers of mine did and they told if there are not roachs then there are mice so take your pick. ha ha. as for chinese places, honestly i know they are dirty and i think if you are stupid enough to go there expecting a clean environment then you deserve to be stupid and if they were really as dirty as people think they are then the health dept would have shut them down ......... just my thought. in addition, it hasn't stopped me from eating at sam woo on garvey and I KNOW FOR A FACT that place is really not clean but it is really yummy ........ ha ha so bite me .

actually, i knew this lady that used to work in my office (marina del rey) that commuted from the 15. is that crazy or what? but she's no longer here. guess she finally got fed up. but she did it for 4 years. anyway, i'm trying a yoga class this weekend at the gym in sacramento. never done yoga before, but people seem to get fit from it, so i thought i might give it a try. i don't understand how stretching and breathing exercises would tone your body, but who knows? oh and if you thought juwanna wasn't gay enough, he's going with me. ha ha. sorry about that juwanna.

today on the 101, there was a horrible accident. a white mercedes behind me started swerving back and forth across three lanes and then spun all the way to the farthest right lane, crashing into two other cars. it was very unreal... like watching an action film.
coincidentally, the car in front of me had a sticker that read "i'm the only person on the planet who knows how to drive."

I have yet to see Red Dragon, but I will be going tonight. I hope it has a psychic that can forsee the future with Buffalo Bill/Bob forgot his name doing his dance going oooo eeee. yes red dragon was good. ralph feines...let's just say is not shy for those of you who have seen it hehe. he's still yum, but it will take me a while to think of him in that sense, just cuz i can't get that character out of my head hehe...but i enjoyed it...it was disturbing, not quite as disturbing as hannibal....and i don't remember silence that much, but i remember it being good. i'm curious to see "manhunter" and see how that movie compares to this one since this is a remake of that movie. anyone see it?

hey everyone......Angel game on Saturday was great, engery was amazing and the crowd was really into it. My favorite part had to be at the end of the game when the random drunk guy came up and gave juwanna a hug, it was very touching.......red dragon was good, not quite as good as silence but still good, sorry juwanna since you guys didn't call me til later i thought you had decided to go do something else. Welcome to the house super slut of the world, haha, good to hear from you again. Hedwig i don't think i need to learn about menopause right now but maybe some day....haha.......the rolling stone cd list was pretty disappointing but then again, look who is judging it fans of RS, which i hate to admit has turned into a pop culture magazine, instead of a true artist's magazine. Looking at the cover with Keith Richards is also quite sad considering the man is like 55 but looks about 80. I recently bought the 40 licks rolling stones cd, its great for any music collection. I highly recommend it. Yes the light right above my desk has stopped flickering and gone out completely, i guess i should go find someone to fix it.

hey everyone. im pissed, i didnt get to see red dragon. by the way, silence of the loins wasnt that great. it was awesome the first time i saw it, but i saw it again with jen and wasnt that impressed by it. the movie seemed a lot shorter and the plot was eh. the only good part is the psycho dancing naked....you should ask hector to reenact it for you. Game 1 tomorrow for the ALCS. Im so excited and i just cant hide it! oh yeah, dont hate mac. GO ANGELS!

hmmm didn't do too much this weekend, just saw red dragon and i think everyone should see it. warning: it is pretty creepy/scary but still very very worth it. of course it is no where near as good as silence of the lamb but much better than hannibal. red dragon followed more the movie format of silence and that's what is great about it.

hey everyone. 4 articles down 5 to go...i'm learning a lot about menopause tho hehe. so if you ladies have any questions hehe. i also have to finish my powerpoint presentation on menopause too. bleh! sorry i don't have anything more to talk about. i got my mcat scores back...got the exact same score as i got last time i took it. what a waste. i went through a 2 day depression and aimless wandering. i'm ok now.....but everyone pray for me that i get into a medical school. And if you're feeling extra religious pray some more that i can miraculously get into a California medical school. I don't think I can pray for that cuz it would really be asking for too much hehe.
i haven't been following any of what the outside world is goign through right now....so I dont' really know about the Angels or music haha. but congrats to angel's fans...cuz i heard they won and beat out the yankees from the redhead. well back to the joys of menopause....hot flashes, night sweats and mood swings oh my!

Why is it that if a team is shitty and starts doing well people start liking them and getting up on their jocks, but if a small band starts to become popular and played on the radio, the "real" fans don't like them anymore?

u go new wave chick! yeah i feel the same way u do, but more about like garbage fans. i dont care if other people like garbage. i dont care if they havent liked them since the beginning, because it wasnt their fault they didnt know about them. but then, there are the evil people who think they like garbage because they like "special" or some other song they heard on the radio, or because they bought one album, and then go to the concert and take up seats, while true garbage fans, who know the lyrics and enjoy every single song (not just the singles or the ones from the radio) have to sit in the back and put up with a room full of posers! FTC! u feel me on that one?!?! i dont particularly like the angels, i dont like baseball, too boring, so i cant judge whether or not theyre a good team, but yeah, all them wannabe-fans, that will forget about them next year if they dont do well, should get over it and get a life, find something u REALLY care about to cheer for.

so let me get this straight ......... we should never root for a team unless we have been a true fan from the start. what if people are only rooting for the Angels because it is a so. california team (like me) or because they like the color red or whatever crazy reason people root for stuff. bandwagoners have been around for ages ....... nothing new there. i can see how you are annoyed mac the knife because that was how i felt about the Lakers (blech) but i think more people are rooting or cheering for the Angels because it has been A LONG TIME since they made the playoffs so if anything it is an accomplishment for them not like the crappy ass Lakers who buy their wins ....... boooooooooo to them .......... just my two cents .... and personally i think a majority of people know the Angels won't win the entire series so why not root for them now (sorry juwanna but you have to be realistic about this. the Angels have a good chance but not a great chance. i mean i don't like the Lakers but i know they are the best team in the NBA so go figure)
