i partly agree with you nick re: chinese weddings. i wouldn't want everyone banging their chopsticks on their tea cups... so embarassing. no karoke at my family's weddings though... but i wouldn't really want a wedding ceremony anyway. i'd rather elope. so i'm not really against chinese weddings per se but against the spectacle of weddings in general.
