update on the forthcoming film about Joy Division's Ian Curtis, Control:
The Killers have covered JD's "Shadowplay" for the soundtrack. Not sure what I think about that. I wonder if they'll get Interpol or She Wants Revenge on that action. Also, New Order are re-recording some JD songs.
Set for a Sept 2007 release, this is a movie I definitely want to check out.

Ugh the Killers. Hate them. (sigh) Neat that NO is redoing the JD songs. Great stuff. I also read on the page that Tony Wilson went in for some cancer treatment and is doing fine. Man Control should be an interesting movie.
