I decided to read a more contemporary author today, so I found this book at the library. I haven’t read Vonnegut since college, but it’s easy to remember why he’s considered one of the great American novelists. This *very* short book actually started as 90-second segments for a New York radio station, but it translates well as text. It’d be funnier to hear it though. And there’s a featured appearance of Vonnegut’s Kilgore Trout character.
