Thoughts: Jane Hudson (Katharine Hepburn) is a spinster on a trip alone to Venice where she falls in love with a married Italian, Renato de Rossi (Rossano Brazzi). The scenery of Venice were BREATHTAKING and amazing. It was a nice escape film with a sweet romance mixed in. As usual, Katharine Hepburn shines here as a strong independent woman who is desperately lonely inside. I have to say it again, they just don't make movies like they use to.
