Thoughts: I quite enjoyed this director’s movie Brodre (Brothers) so I was eager to catch her new film at the AFI (American Film Institute). Jacob (Mads Mikkelsen) is the manager of an orphanage in India, when he is sent to Denmark to get a donation from a rich business man. It turns out the man Jorgen (Rolf Lassgard) is married to his old girlfriend Helena (Sidse Babett Knudsen). In addition, he is the father of their daughter Anna (Stine Fischer Christensen) who is getting married. The acting was strong throughout the movie, although at some points it was a bit over the top/melodramatic.
