Since buying my Honda Civic, I am missing my tape deck terribly. Or rather the ability to play my iPod. I can never predict what I will want to listen to on my commutes to work, so I end up with a scatter of CDs everywhere--very messy. I own an iTrip but have yet to try it out. Does anyone have any input? (Specifically Bleed Like Me as New Wave tells me you use something other than iTrip?)

i use the FM transmitter made by Monster (i'm not sure what it's called). It works alright, but is full of static at times. I think they've upgraded the unit since i got mine. it is, however, such a great device. without it, time in my car would suck big time. it gets the job done, so its cool.
a friend of mine has the itrip and it seems to work well, possibly better than the one i have. i just dont like that it puts audio tracks onto your ipod, but with the new iTunes 5, i think the problems associated with having tuning tracks can be avoided.
hope this helps

This is probably a pointless option but I got a Pioneer system with an input for an iPod and it also plays MP3/WMA cd's and I love it. It was oly $150 for the radio, free install, but I had to pay for parts needed which was maybe $30.
