(M) Oasis -Definitely Maybe Documentary: Grade - B/C
It gets a B for the entertainment and a C for trying to understand what they're saying. This was entertaining and revived my love for Oasis. I wish I was going to the Hollywood Bowl to see them. They will never be 'The Beatles' but they're still a great band and this album still holds up after all these years.

Yeah, after I saw Oasis at the Bowl, I pulled out my Definitely Maybe and What's the Story Morning Glory albums. Fookin' brilliant. Still can't understand them though.

How was the show? Did they do a range of material or mainly new stuff? Was the venue suiting for them?

The Bowl was a tad big for them (Greek would have suited). Oasis started with a few Don't Believe the Truth numbers, but then played an onslaught of the hits: Live Forever, Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova, Cigarettes and Alcohol and for an encore, Don't Look Back In Anger (plus a cover of the Who's My Generation). I was hoping Liam would start a chant of his name as he did in the Familiar to Millions recording, but he was pretty quiet. Ah well.
