happy new year! my celebration was a bore but i found that more preferable than last year's expensive night out. after my recent buy of an imac and an ipod, plus last-minute christmas shopping (due to unexpected gifts), i am somewhat penniless. that should make my san fran trip next weekend fun. plus, the rain.
anyway, when i was around third street in santa monica the other day i saw a really hilarious sign at a music store: FREE (in small letters:) yourself from high prices and buy your GUITAR (in small letters:) from us today. hahaha.
looking back on 2004, it was a pretty good year: switched to a new job (that i *love*), i am finally published, and i made some good friends at the Web zine. hope everyone has an eventful 2005. i am hoping for even better things to come...
