(B) Vintage Murakami. (2004, Haruki Murakami) Grade: B+
The Vintage series is an effective, time-efficient way to determine whether you like a writer. However, if you find the snippets particularly enjoyable, the Vintage series is unsatisfying, like being allowed to sample only a bite of a really delicious carrot cake. Mmm... Good introduction, but I am looking forward to reading Murakami's complete novels.
