show:
opening bands:
run run run (nothing) - i don't feel like i shoud rate them considering i really didn't listen to their set. apparently they are played on kcrw and one of their songs use to be on rotation on kroq. (shrug) whatevers. though they did have this guy with a huge white man afro ... like 3x bigger than justin guruani.

the pleased 4.9 - i'm not going to rush out and buy their cd but they were okay. the band was from SF so that was cool and the leader singer had on this rad rug shirt .... ha ha and droopy eyes that made him look high.

main act:
psychedelic furs 9 - WOW :) so good. where do i even begin. okay so richard bulter comes out on stage in this awesome gray coat and sunglasses .... classic. love his dance moves, his wonderful stage presence. they played all the songs i wanted to hear .... heaven, president gas, love my way, ghost in you and of course ended with pretty in pink and india. dang it was fun ... it was like going to an 80's club with live music which is always better. people were dancing and having a great time and that's what it is all about.

however to ever good there were some bads. there was this one guy who was so wasted he was dancing in everyone's way .... booooooooo oh and here is the kicker ... he had to be at least over 40. ha ha dang. lots of over 40 somethings reliving or enjoying their 20's again. did i ever mention i was born in the wrong era.

random thoughts:
why is "say yes" by elliott smith so haunting good
while waiting for my car my cuz and i struck up a conversation with an older hispanic couple. they asked us how old we were and my cuz who is almost 30 said 34 and i said 25 .... ha ha they did not believe it. they thought my cuz was like 22 or 23 and they thought i was 19 ... sweet :O
why is no one blogging ... grrrr. ha ha.
what happened in madrid, spain breaks my heart and i find it kinda of errie. march 11 ... 2.5 years after sept. 11.
