r.e.m. is back on tour. and i just found out that tix are $75. frankly, that's ridiculous. i guess i'm only going one night, because with the additional ticket fees, that's $100 each! i can't believe they would do that to their fans. plus, concert sales are hard enough. how will they fill out the venue?
anyway, today i had problems with my car acceleration and of course, los angeles drivers are the most understanding folk if you don't immediately speed when the light turns green right? actually, no. if you don't step on your gas in the first five seconds, you get a loud HONK! so it doesn't help that my car stalls a bit. additionally, if you find street parking and wait for the fellow to move his car but end up blocking traffic, HONK! so either end up deaf but get parking or forgo the space for your sanity. ah, los angeles driving.
