alright here is my first cure posting for cure week - me and rancid girl left costa mesa around 4 and got to sd at 6:30-ish. stupid traffic on the 805 and then we got a bit lost because the exit we were looking for did not exist. ha ha. we seriously went to the END of calif. how crazy is that. we were like a mile from the international border. so we get into the show and grub on some bad food ... eh and then get some merch. i got a shirt, pins and keychain. i wanted the hoodie but they had already sold out :( oh well. so we make our way to the pit and watched as the stage got set up for interpol. they came on and played ... eh they were not very impressive in my opinion but then again i was waiting for the cure so anyone who went on i could care less about. ha ha.

so the cure gets on stage about 10 mins late :( and ROCK OUT hard. it was a strong show. i still prefer their inland invasion setlist but i know most fans just want the pop fav. so fine. during disintergration robert was losing it, he was so emotional. that had to be the BEST version of the song i have ever seen. oh man. i won't go into more detail but it was a good show. i'm curious to see what they will play for the LA and SF show.
