They announced the nominees for the 64th Golden Globe Awards today and I'm a bit surprised at what got picked.

For best drama - The Departed and The Queen are good but I heard Bobby and Little Children were just alright. I do want to watch Babel but Brad Pitt for Supporting Actor?? I thought he was the lead. The only one I do not get is Devil Wears Prada becuase the movie was pretty typical.

As for TV, no BSG or Veronica Mars (what a shame) but I am glad Ugly Betty got on there and America Ferrera for best actress because she is so charming. Oh and it is nice to see Gillian Anderson and Kyra Sedgwick there.
